Anyone wet shave with a Safety Razor

I usually bring a tube of cream like proraso with me for travel. As for where to buy stuff, I've found amazon and Men's Wet Shaving, Grooming, Skin and Hair Care - West Coast Shaving are both awesome places to buy razors, blades, and supplies.

Aereo - Interesting Concept Has TV Corps Upset!

It seems really short sighted of Fox. They are not making money off the poeple who use this service, as they already don't have cable, and the customers won't resubscribe even if Fox moved to cable. If my understanding of the concept is correct, Aereo is simply providing access to antennas to...

    For Beer Lovers

Yuengling is awesome, but it doesn't really belong in the discussion. They really short changed PA beers since there are many many awesome beers in PA other than Yuengling.

    Tempelton Rye

The problem with this taste test is that you compared apples to oranges. Whiskey is not whiskey, and you mixed bourbon with rye, and while both are whiskey, they are completely different in flavor. Bourbon, being derived from corn is a much sweeter whiskey, while rye is dry. Its like...

    Penn St. and the media

I for one have enjoyed the fact that they have lost on national tv the last 2 weeks. I get that they don't deserve the publicity, but at this point its more of a public shaming.

Headliners changes owners/turnover of campustown bars

regarding CYs and food, when I was there from 97-02 CYs was the place to be on Wednesday night for buck burgers. They had food, and it was decent, though since they were shut down and reopened its nothing like it used to be.

Headliners changes owners/turnover of campustown bars

the bars in Ames that make it are the ones who have a constant revenue stream from midday to midnight. Peoples, WAS, Es Tas, CYs, Cafe B, etc. Those are the places in campus town that do food service during the day. They can cater to the families, adults, and minors before 9pm, then they can...

    Advertisements on NBA uniforms

I think if they did it right it could be ok. The European clubs usually have 1 sponsor on the front of their shirts, and it doesn't look too bad. Some of the south/central america sides however go a bit overboard and put a whole bunch on the front, back, sleeves, butt.

NFL: Another arbitrator rules in favor of the NFL

Because the same union also represents those at fault. The union already did a lot by not fighting the league on the charges.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries- West Des Moines

I love 5 Guys, but I always get eater's remorse after eating there. I think as far as the fries go, it really depends on who made them. Most of the time they are really good, occasionally, however, you get a sub par batch.

The end for Legends in Ames

I would argue that the lack of adult/family places is the biggest drawback to campustown. The last thing that campustown needs is another dive or cheap eats place geared for students. They need to do more to draw in the Alumni/Locals to bring in significantly more revenue. I've been to plenty...

    Financial Planer

I understand the negative feelings towards commissions, but they do need to make money somehow. What I would suggest is find someone you trust. Many banks can and do offer many of the services that you are looking for, or can put you in touch with someone. If you trust someone with your...

FSU, Clemson, Louisville and Maryland to Big 12?

Maryland opens up not 1, but 2 decent tv markets (DC+Baltimore), has a solid history in basketball and football(national championships in both), and has UnderArmor money, which, while not Nike money yet, is quite significant. On top of that, several of the Maryland fans I know consider WV as...

why is our spring game weeks before others? do we still practice afterwards?

Ours isn't early, KU & KState are just late. for this years spring games, the 14th was the busiest day, with more schools holding their game that day, with the 21st as the 2nd most popular. The side bar for Reddit's College football subreddit has a nice breakdown of the spring game schedules...

    Business dress

Suit Up! Ok so probably not based on what I've read, but over dressing your first day won't be the end of the world, better than under dressing.
