    Anyone ever done this? I have a buddy who lives in CA who is going to sign up and ship me the beer. Was curious if anyone has signed up through The Bruery and if they thought it was worth it.

    Iowa City Craft Beer

    Red's is fantastic - best beer selection in the Iowa City area IMHO. That place was the only thing I liked about living in North Liberty. I spent many nights closing it down. The owner has a huge private collection in the cellar downstairs. I've had some friends purchase some beers from him...

    It's good. Let it age for awhile though. I picked up 5 of the 4 packs of regular and 2 bottles of barley wine and coffee.

    New beer news

    Bourbon Barrel Aged Arrogant Bastard is great. Had it on cask at Stone in July. If you like that, I would recommend you try Bastard in the Rye which is Arrogant Bastard aged in Templeton barrels. It's outstanding.
