Gas 12 cents higher in Ames than Ankeny
during the summer they kept pricing within 2-4 cents, but 12 cents when the students are back....totally unacceptable -

The "cost" of gas is the same as Des Moines. They charge an average of .11 cents per gallon higher because they can. I have complained about this for years, but keep being told that it is what the market is. So I vote with my check book. I Never use a convenience store in Ames for anything... -

Season tickets?
I am going to keep my 4 tickets, although I have decided not to purchase an extra 2 in the end zone. My tickets to football and mens basketball is taken out of our Vacation money for the year. with the money spent, I could have a nice cruse somewhere warm in the winter......
