    Thomas and Nader

    I have been very impressed by Thomas's all around game. He is one of the better defenders on the team and at times has even had to defend post players and has held his own.

    I think Ash is the most likely person to get the job based on the previous hires. I would need to see who he gets as assistants to make up my mind if I like it or not.

    Depth is Fine

    I am worried about the depth. The more aggressive defense they are playing this year will lead to more fouls and there are big question marks at backup Center and PG. Hopefully one of the young big guys steps up to help.

    Hoops nugget I've heard from practice

    From the sounds of it he seems to be similar to a young Jared Homan. He is a little smaller but had that physical mentality and build. I don't expect that type of production but hopefully he can progress to help with the rebounding and defense.

    If Burton is as strong and athletic as advertised I think he will play some at the 4 based on matchups. Very few teams have imposing front lines and I think he will guard most post players better than they will be able to guard him.
