    I am really glad to see that any angst relative to this segment has been directed towards Williams. I don't think I have ever been to 'downtown' Ames...which I will, the next time I come to that fair city.

    we are Iowans. Which means, in my opinion, there are more good among us than bad. We all come across examples of both…but I think it’s still more good than bad. In all my visits to Ames, it was 95pct great, 5pct deserved

    Have not had a drink since 9/30/06. Do not intend to. It would likely destroy everything good in my life and frankly, I just have zero desire. 420 here and there...and no hangover...but mostly over the past 16 years, I have come to really, really enjoy being in total control of my faculties...

    Happy Joes, no longer happy

    The sirens and horns going off, the announcement that 'we have a very special birthday' the free ice cream treat....being able to watch them make the pizza's through the glass (at least the one in Iowa City)....top shelf childhood right there.

    Well this just sucks so bad that it led to me making my first post here in....I dont know how many years. Feels like another piece of my childhood died....every birthday, it was happy joes.
