    That’s been needed for a while, same with the Grand/13th intersection turn lanes. I believe the latest plan is to break the S16th widening into two phases now so completed by fall 2026 (first phase next year).

    off the top of my head multiple ISu Center Projects voted down, new mall, campustown redevelopment (now just a hodgepodge mess), several indoor rec proposals. I’m sure I could come up with more if I took the time.

    I believe there a rumor that “Mullets” would be replacing West Towne a few months ago. Wonder if that is still the plan.

    You’d probably have to raze a significant chunk of it like old “LANE4” proposal and add parking and plaza space.

    It will pay the equivalent of what it would owe in tax (payment in lieu of tax) to the city which goes into an improvement fund for the Iowa State Center.

    Yep, props to them buckling down on defense. They’ve been playing better D lately which is helping their success imo.
