My god has this gas station gone to ****. Employees are clueless and slower than humanly possible, bathrooms are terrible, etc. Using my rewards was almost an impossible task for the person working tonight. Using what I have in rewards left and switching full time to kwik star or QT. End of rant.

The one in Adel is top notch though. Kwik star is much better these days

The constant number entry seems so archaic.

The Casey gas prices are about 15-25 cents higher than other gas stations in Algona. Makes HyVee fuel savers pretty much worthless

We usually stop at the Casey's in Clear Lake on the way down to Iowa and at the Kwik Star on the way back up - mainly out of habit; easier to just turn right off of the ramp. The Kwik Star is night and day better on all counts. Granted the Kwik Star is newer, but they have pretty much stopped trying at the Casey's.

I posted a message not too many months ago defending them, but things do seem to be getting worse for some reason. Can’t say I’m super impressed with Kum & Go or QT of late though either. Kwik Star is probably best right now…

I'd really like to see a time line for when it started to slide.

Either it's gotten worse or the other spots like Kwik Trip/Star have gotten just that much better. Probably a mix.

Been getting by a little spoiled on brand new Sheetz in the area. Casey’s still miles better than Speedway.

There's a new Kwik Star going in on 65/69 right as you get to Indianola directly across the street from the Casey's there. Looks to be nearly twice as big, will obviously be better.

I can imagine how almost everyone I know could live to be 1000 years old, use the same bathroom all 1000 years, never clean it one time...and it would still be far cleaner than half of gas station bathrooms and not just slightly less gross, wildly more usable. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? It can't just be little kids, it has to be intentional.

I've come to adopt a life policy that has served me pretty well. It's that other people are just weird and suck.

Sounds better to earn 5,000 points on a transaction instead of 5 cents maybe.
