So what is the answer, you either have schools driving two hours to a game to even up the district or screw over a few teams that are in a tough district. With only four teams, the state could avoid putting traditionally good teams in the same district much like they do in 5A. No system is going to perfect for everyone, but when schools are traveling 2 to 21/2 hours to games is not working either.
Look at Davis Co., it would be very easy for them to play Albia, Centerville, and Charton and then let them pick up Cardinal, Central Lee, VB and Eddyville to make out their schedule. All schools close to the same size and all within an hour drive at most.
