First real snow of the year here in the Twin Cities. I really have not shoveled all season. Wet and heavy stuff of course. About three inches short of a full Aerosmith depth, pretty much the top end of what was forecast.

Hobbling around on da broken foot thingie and I think I'll spread my shoveling out over a couple of days.

Speaking of shoveling. What would you offer to a teen kid to shovel per/hour or per house/driveway?

Just little kids in my hood but old neighbor friend (not in the hood anymore but 2-3 miles way) has a teen and they watered my plants while I was gone. Now thinking maybe I should see if he wants to shovel Casa Boxster next year.

Kids a teen? Offer him a 6 pack. He'll have you cleaned off in no time.

$1000, but it's not my money.

Per driveway, per snow event. Pay them well and hope there aren’t too many snows. A normal driveway will take less than an hour, so if you’re paying per hour it’s probably not worth their time to come over and get setup.

Went home for lunch and a 32' section of my neighbor's fence went down. It was bound to happen as it was in bad condition already. Unfortunately, that means I had to go buy some temporary fencing to put up until it is fixed as I have three little dogs and I do not want to try to leash all three and take them out at the same time, nor do I want to take them out individually.

Yeah, hourly really won't be good, probably a generous per event thingie would be good. Grandkid of a good friend of mine (died a couple of years ago) so I'll be looking to overpay if anything.
