Imagine if Arizona hadn’t tanked the non con and was top 5 and a 1/2 seed.

Same for KSU.

I think AZ wasn't terrible but took some time to gel.

The same could be said for KSU but they were REALLY bad and their fans should be ticked that it will likely cost them a berth.

Houston for me, I'm still sore over that stupid f*cking shot, and we have better odds of catching/passing Arizona.
That's what I was thinking as well. Better, more reasonable chance to catch Az, and having them lose another one before we play them gives us a better chance to get to 2nd in the Big 12.

So who are we rooting for with Houston / Arizona?
I’m sure I’ll get flack for this but Houston while technically can be caught for the title I don’t see it happening. So I want a top 4 seed in KC. Houston needs to beat others vying for top 4 seed (but obviously want us to win in Houston) as much as possible. So I’m rooting for Houston today.

Wiscy could be a problem in March. They've got some shooters who can spread the floor. Great ball movement.

Good guards and not super powerful bigs but experienced and smart with the ball. Krawl can also step out and hit a three.

I tend to cheer for Houston as a side hustle.

Kind of a throw back to Sampson's B8/12 days and it seemed like when ISU played them last year it was just two teams playing their asses off without much riff raff.

Personally, I think Houston is the obvious choice to root for. Will make our win against them even better.

Not sure I've ever seen Caleb Love hit a shot of any difficulty level without celebrating afterwards.
Besides the obvious, I don’t really mind Love, but I would rip my hair out if I had to watch him on ISU. It doesn’t matter if he’s hitting, he will shoot 15 times even if he makes just 2, including a dozen from long distance.

I mean, scorers need to do that.

If Cujo isn't hitting I'm still looking for him to keep firing to get something going.

How he gets lauded as one of the best guards in the country amazes me. He hasn’t gotten any better than he was as a freshman 10 years ago. 37.5% career field goal percentage on 15 shots a game screams bad team player and mid basketball player
