La Fuente: Margarita Challenge! I projectile vomited in their bathroom after completing this challenge.

My addition: the wing place in the West Ames Hy-Vee strip mall. Cira 2006, they had 25 cent wings and they were pretty good.
West Cyde Wings. Went there a couple times as a kid before basketball games with my pops. Some of the best wings and their ranch was ridiculously good. Sad it was open for such a short time

Liberty Bowl 2011, I was 21 but had buddies that weren’t and Beale Street was just handing out alcohol to anyone and everyone without IDs, even with cops right there.

It’s good to have laws and have them enforced, but it’s just funny to compare the two. Kind of seems like Es Tas was acting like they didn’t give a **** who got a drink

Campustown has really gone downhill, at least based on the number of places I remember that are closed now. Plus the gaping bombed out section of buildings on Lincoln Way....

It has kind of always been a revolving door of businesses, as possibly evidenced in this thread. The empty chunk is obnoxious though.

I watched the 2012 Iowa State/Iowa Football game in a jammed pack Es Tas. The place erupted when Jake Knott got the interception at the end of the game. Rest in Power, old Friend.
