Yah I've seen discussion both ways. We've been bent over and screwed so many times over the years F it.
Remember, Iowa doesn’t get beat, the lose with superior talent and coaching. I am sure they still think they should national champions.

I would guess his number of snaps was pretty normal. Rocco carried the ball 20 times, that's going to limit how many times the backs carry it. Jaylon carried eight times yesterday and is otherwise averaging 10 carries per game on the year, not super-unusual.
I have a friend who is exactly the same way. He never lets me forget that he "cheers for Iowa State when they're not playing Iowa. I know you don't". But then he spends the entire game making snide remarks about Iowa State, Ames, the Big 12, our fans. He pouts when Iowa State wins. They "cheer for Iowa State" until we actually start winning. And if Iowa loses, it's nothing but backhanded remarks the rest of the day. **** em
I've had a few chances this year to remind several Iowa fans that they "cheer for ISU too" so they must be really enjoying the football season so far.
(There are a few who genuinely do, but it's easy to tell the difference.)
Because he was getting crushed in the backfield on every carry? Hansen and Sama were better last night.
I've never known a serious fan who really cheers for both teams, that's for casuals if you ask me.
Lately every time Jaylon gets a handoff it seems like there's already a defender in his face.
We have three good backs plus a QB who can move his feet a little (and a mobile backup in Moberly!), great problem to have spreading those carries around. The age of the Featured Back is largely over in current football offenses unless you've got a Breece Hall-type.

Bob Huggins would have liked how this was officiated.
They let them play. Holds, interference, late hits. Just didnt call anything almost. It was like they had to be somewhere by 11 and didnt want the game to go long.
And that benefitted UCF, i thought. They came out being physical af on the d line, and the back end played same way.
And so many late or late-ish hits out of bounds or nearly so. Good lord.
Hunter on their D-Line is a beast. He single handedly was shoving our Oline back into Bechts operating area.
Jackson would completely disappear beneath him on occasion.
Last night was the best, worst game I have ever seen at the Jack. When we scored that last touchdown the west upper deck was bouncing at least 2”, the most I have ever felt it shaking. Thank god for excellent structural engineers 50 years ago!
