It just sat on the end zone. No one touched it.On the dropped ball on UCF's last interception, why were they given the ball on the 1. Why not ISU ball on a touchback? I missed who recovered the ball, or if it went out of the back of the endzone.

Hot take: Indiana has played nobody good (knock on wood) and is one of those teams that is just really good at running up the score on ******* opponents.Indiana has looked better than us, scoring tons of points and blowing everybody out.
We ran 99 plays, had over 500 yards of offense, and scored 38 points. Not exactly exposed. UCF tried something and it didn’t work.Yeah pressure and lock down man to man. Mouser seemed pretty humble after the game knowing his offense was exposed a bit.
Doubt I'm correct on what? Jackson played last night. He wasn't good. It's pretty straightforward.Ok cool I was just asking considering Sama had a carry prior to Jackson on multiple series so I highly doubt you’re correct.
We haven't used any short stuff to Noel that has been a staple (for better or worse) the last 3 seasons. I'd expect to see us add a few swing passes, screen passes to the RBs, and shallower slants if we run into that again. We've been good at protecting Rocco, so hopefully that returns the rest of the season. Black at guard was especially bad last night in pass protection. We going to see a lot of what ucf did moving forward if people have the horses to do it. Lots and lots of pressure on Rocco.
I've had a few chances this year to remind several Iowa fans that they "cheer for ISU too" so they must be really enjoying the football season so far.
(There are a few who genuinely do, but it's easy to tell the difference.)
SIAP
Did we ever hear what happened to Hansen?

Those were horrible! I remember on one thinking OK, 99% of refs would call unnecessary roughness right there. But you, dude, you are that one!I thought the refs really let UCF get away with a lot of late hits out of bounds. Multiple times they threw our guy to the ground or tackled him well past the out of bounds line and got away with it.
I'm pretty sure they announced ineligible man down field doesn't apply on a legal throw away out of bounds. While I’m thinking about it, how was there not an ineligible man downfield penalty when UCF had not one but two different linemen 20 yards downfield? Did the pass not get past the LOS? Couldn’t tell at the game
The same could be said about our wins too.Hot take: Indiana has played nobody good (knock on wood) and is one of those teams that is just really good at running up the score on ******* opponents.
FIU, who is 2-5 with losses to UTEP and Monmouth
Western Illinois, who is a 3-4 FCS team
UCLA, 2-5 with 3-pt wins over Hawaii and Rutgers
Charlotte, who is 3-4 with a 51-17 loss to Navy
Maryland, who is 4-3 with a 37-10 loss to Northwestern
Northwestern, who is 3-4 and scored in single digits in losses to Washington and Wisconsin
Nebraska, whose wins are UTEP, Colorado, UNI, Purdue, and Rutgers.
I don't think Indiana is actually that good, they've just played a terrible schedule and this is 2020 all over again.
Exactly. It's a cliche in college football. They ain't played nobody. The reality is every good team has 1-3 season defining games on the schedule while beating a bunch of bad teams. It's simple math. That's what makes it historically one of the most difficult sports to assess given how many teams are at the same level, the unbalanced schedules, and no postseason tournament. The same could be said about our wins too.
They dared Rocco to run and locked everything else down. Don’t blame them as he hasn’t shown anything close to what he did last night. Always knew he was athletic enough to run like we just saw. Future opponents will think twice about running the UCF game plan.Yeah pressure and lock down man to man. Mouser seemed pretty humble after the game knowing his offense was exposed a bit.
