Applied for a PT job with another school yesterday. First time they've popped up in my experience.
Sounds like it would be steady, recurring, and probably pay enough to stop cleaning the middle school. I guess I'll wear out my refresh button on the email tab.
Good luck!

Might have to change my avatar. I am worried my biking days may be over. Been battling neck/shoulder/arm pain along with a numb thumb and tingling digits. And it's an impinged C6 nerve. Even layman me could tell which vertebra it was on the x-ray. Even if this settles down I am thinking they will recommend no biking since moving neck up to see ahead is what really kicks my ass. Taking some anti-inflammatories and heading to therapy next week. Worse case is they have to go in and grind out some of the bone spurs and other bone growth. Best case is it settles down and the bulge reabsorbs over the next couple of months. Since it's been this way for years and didn't punch me out till now gives me some hope to return to more normal.

We have to work tomorrow to get ready for trusses on Monday, which guarantees it'll rain. We were supposed to set yesterday, but the rain keeps delaying us.

The rubber on my Otterbox phone case somehow lost its integrity, and it was really flimsy right around my activation and volume buttons. I'm more than likely getting a new phone this summer, so didn't want to put down the money for an OtterBox that would be obsolete in a few months. Picked up a well-reviewed one for $10 on Amazon. Trying to get used to it this past half an hour with the less bulk.

Well 7am to 1am that's enough of a day for me, shower done, time for a snack and then catch a rest.

Ugh, just not deep enough at pitcher. Give up a 7 run lead to lose by two over two innings.

Does getting a massage help? (Thinking how this could help with muscles that could be working that spine area) Guessing therapy might do something similar, too. Sometimes getting the massage after therapy is also good - though I'd encourage talking to the therapist about that first.

When we stopped at the bar for lunch yesterday, the lady next to me randomly asked me if I remembered when Stacy's Mom came out, and I was like of course. She asked me how old i was and I told her. She got up and left and told me "Stacy's mom, remember that". It wasn't playing on the jukebox or anything, so it was a really weird interaction. She was with her husband too, or that's who I think it was.

I'd say someone was on the prowl...

Got a long week ahead of me and need to go to sleep. Would love to keep the window open to listen to the rain, but being on the ground floor of an apartment building doesn't make that the wisest choice.

See y'all on the flip side.

Ugh. Youngest (2 year old) got a fever Friday night which morphed into hives on Saturday. Yesterday and especially last night she was extremely itch and inconsolable when the Benadryl wore off. Hopefully the second dose of steroids helps today.
