Not exactly sure.
Came upon this quaint valley town yesterday at work. When I got done I asked if there was a place to get something to drink. Was told they have a pop machine but the closest C store was 5 miles away. Town wasn’t as neat then.

Drove through Elmore MN. Noticed their city hall is the back of a liquor store. Grab a bottle of Yukon before the meeting I guess.
It looks like an all-in-one municipal building. The fire station is also part of it.

Also, it looks like Elmore is our first line of defense when you uncivilized hoards from the South try to destroy our pristine paradise.

Should have asked for meth, bet you wouldn’t have had to drive as far.

Yes, because the bottom two rows of counties in Minnesota are inhabited by people entirely unlike those dwelling in the top row of counties in Iowa.

This weather can go **** itself. How then he’ll can I get my 9u baseball team ready for the season in this crap?
We are lucky to have access to an indoor facility but yeah the first tourney is 1.5 weeks away now. On Sunday I tossed a ball with my son on a field that was very squishy on the infield.

Damn it's snowing again, snow about horizontal with the wind, luckily visibility still ok
I drove to work in snow flurries, colleague drove in rain, on way to work my student came through no precip but really strong winds.

I do not miss coaching little league baseball in the early spring. You start games and practice and it's hot. You end games and practice and it's cold. Dirt and mosquitos everywhere.

We have an indoor facility as well but it’s just cages and space for some ground balls. It serves it purpose but they are tired of it by now. I need to get my kids outside doing live baseball things and not playing the “how many times can I throw my glove in the air before it gets stuck in the air duct” game.

I'm listening to your stories and thinking how every little thing you mention is ABSOLUTELY something one or both of my sons would have done.

Ahhhhh,,,the memories!
