Out of spite, I would like to see a suspension and fine for conduct detrimental to the conference and the profession. Don't care about an apology from their toolbox of a coach and their mid program.

TV great
KSU really needs to apologize to ISU. To imply that the best huddle spying technology we can come up with is some people in the stands with cellphones or some managers mopping the floor? I'm insulted. ISU is a top-tier engineering school, IF ISU was going to spy on their huddle it would involve cameras with telephoto lenses and some parabolic mics in the ceiling relaying the info over dedicated data lines to control centers in the bowels of Hilton to summarise the info into a strategy that could be transmitted to TJ via a hidden speaker in his ear. Jeez.
Great ideas you have!!

I think the conference coming out and saying something along the lines of “we investigated and found no evidence” or “in the future we hope these allegations can be escalated through the proper channels and investigated before accusations are made publicly” would be much more meaningful than some forced apology by Tang.

If Tang was forced to apoligize it’s going to be hollow and include a bunch of qualifications like “I’m sorry, but here is my side of the story”.

Respectfully, I also think people talking about making this a legal matter against KSU are going too far.

I genuinely cannot believe this is still going. This is the stupidest “scandal” I’ve ever seen. Nobody on the K-State has been willing or able to provide actual proof of what has been accused and nobody on K-State’s staff has been willing to actually speak about it. This is ******* ridiculous

This entire “scandal” explains so much about human history…how men with their “honor challenged” developed the concept of a “duel”, how one member of Congress beat another with their cane while on the floor of the Senate chamber, and so many more examples. It’s ludicrous. Get over yourselves and move on. Whether Tang realizes what an idiot he is or not, don’t stoop to his level by even caring one more minute about this. People believe in Bigfoot and that we faked the moon landings. The rest of us have to get on with life and doing things that might actually matter…

Respectfully disagree.

You don't publicly make false accusations that can ruin another person's career and reputation without facing consequences. You don't just say whatever and move on.

I kinda just want this to die so our guys can just move on. Let it eat away at KSU and ruin their season
The players have already "moved along." They never were worried about it because they knew it wasn't true. Good for JP and TJ to go on the offensive. They are there to protect the Brand and they needed to address the situation.

So is Tang saying that no fan in the stands can have their phone out during timeouts? Is this another ‘horns down’ thing that he feels the refs/Big 12 should regulate? Weird.

maybe some have moved on, but the KU managers moved the isu mop guys away from their huddle after trying to clean up after the first time out. they did not go over to mop up the rest of the game. I wonder if this will happen more often. and once the other team forgets to clean a spill on the court someone will slip, and maybe injure themseves.
