Any SPAM lovers out there? It's not bad if you cook it right.
It sounds like you made the worst mole sauce ever!Telling one on myself: Back in the day I used to run home for my noon meal from working on the farm. I'd invariably make chocolate milk using syrup to go with what ever I was chowing down at the time. Had a chunk of steak that my wife didn't finish the night before (possibly a round steak). She always like red meat more well done than I so I got out the ketchup to help get it down--something that I would not normally do. I got too involved watching the noon news on the tube and inadvertently grabbed the chocolate syrup bottle, squeezed some on my steak, and plopped it into my mouth before I realized what I had done. Highly do not recommend.
Sliced thin and fried?Any SPAM lovers out there? It's not bad if you cook it right.
Not a fan of the little chunks of Canadian bacon. Give me sliced CB every time.
My mom used to do this, but the pear was encapsulated in jello. Here is something my mom used to have for us when I was younger. A leaf of lettuce, a half of a pear on top of that with a little cheddar cheese sprinkled on top.
This was a staple with my mom when I was growing up…canned pears in green (lime?) jello was a close second.Grated carrots in orange jello. I know this was on another thread about Thanksgiving foods or something like that.
