You sound like someone who listened to Malcolm Gladwell's gun control podcast mini-series. If not, you'd probably enjoy it.
I like that theory, lets go with that.
So long, Farewell, I'm going for a drive on Highway 20

From what I've heard, this pit was not empty yet.Keep in mind pits are typically empty this time of year. I do imagine that was checked when the site was searched on the Saturday after he disappeared. But moving to another site would be possible.

Did I ever say complete? Pigs can't digest larger bones (they will however, break them down into smaller pieces and consume them) and human hair but that doesn't mean they won't be broken down in the pit itself due to the bacteria. It takes time but if nobody is looking, it will happen. There's documented cases of pigs eating bodies out there. The professor was feeding you a line.
I've owned hogs of every size and age and while they are capable of destroying a carcass of another animal, they do not do so in a way that would be considered complete.
Well let's just agree given a 24 hour or smaller interval (someone would have been on site the following morning to chore those barns) that it does not apply to this case.Did I ever say complete? Yeah that site is one that you probably wouldn't be seeing featured in very many promotional ads for the Pork Industry. From what I've heard, this pit was not empty yet.
Anyone who has crossed paths with my ex-wife and former in-laws would beg to differ, I assure you.No. They were feeder pigs. And it’s not like a load of pigs is a group of grizzly bears.
Unless well you know...Well let's just agree given a 24 hour or smaller interval (someone would have been on site the following morning to chore those barns) that it does not apply to this case.

I never once insinuated that's what happened with this guy.Quickest and easiest way to get rid of a body, per a professor of mine at ISU
Go on...Perhaps there is a band of roving hot nymphos that is plying on the men of Iowa. These two poor souls are now in the clutches of diabolical women doing unspeakable acts to them, over and over.
Unless well you know...
There's reasons to believe there's not a body in the pit. 1.Dog search apparently lost the scent out at the road. 2.Not easy to whack somebody and get them into a pit without leaving a trace of some kind outdoors. 3. If it was a real possibility the authorities would have emptied the pit last week to look for evidence. He may have been confronted at the job site, but he isn't still there, IMO.From what I've heard, this pit was not empty yet.
Or at least not empty enough that they were considering pumping them again this week to check.
For what it's worth, Brownells has been in the gun repair/gunsmith supplies business since 1939. This is their first retail location. Most of the I-80 location is warehouse not gun store. Stop in and look around. You might be surprised. They even gave me a tour. When I return to Iowa a few times a year for family stuff, I'm still shocked to see the mega gun store on I-80 (Brownells). Not the world I grew up in.
Hopefully the same dipshot that opened the sports betting investigation at ISU and ui isn’t leading this. Not really any updates but DCI is now getting involved in the Schultz case

How many of the people arguing are farmers though? Can we get an opt-out "farmers arguing about ****" forum?
You listen to the latest season of revisionist history?Another important thing is to only look at stats for reported violent crime and ignore fatal incidents and murder data. Murder rates are often just an evaluation of how good or lacking the trauma centers are in various areas and neighborhoods, same thing goes for convictions and the criminal justice system in different areas. Reported violent crime is the best data we have and unfortunately it's sometimes very hard data to get compared to deaths, murders, convictions, etc.
