JFC the amount of 'experts' picking Duke to make the Final Four is hilarious. Shouldn't be surprised. But now I hope Oral Roberts beats them so they all look like chumps.

I think all 4 or 5 guys on ESPN picked them last night. Rookie head coach and being the trendy pick feels like disaster to me.

what's a pick that you made that no one else (or not many) is picking and can be a make it or break it for your pool?

Everyone has Tennessee on upset alert. And rightfully so. But they still defend like crazy. I have them in the Sweet Sixteen beating Duke.

I also think Providence is better than people think. They're gonna beat UK in OT and beat KSU as well and yes...after TWO very close losses games in league play, the Friars beat Marquette the third time to get to Elite 8.

There has been a 7 seed or worse in the Final Four the past few years. I think Providence and A&M are prime candidates for this year.

Colgate over Texas cause f*ck Texas
They frickin invented toothpaste. They sure as hell can beat Texas.
Colgate would be good for bad breath too. But Texass has some severe halitosis, so I don't know if they are strong enough.

I'm rooting for ISU to win over Texa$ and make the Elite 8. If not, I will root for the Big 12 still and silently root for TX to make the Final 4. They can help pay the conference back a little.

I will take Creighton, as an upset, to come out of the South. I hope Alabama doesn't go far as I have lost all respect for their program, if I had any to start. Did Miller even get a wrist slap for the gun involved with the murder? Oats hardly was chastised at all either. He let Miller slide.

It’s crazy because I usually pick a lot of upsets in March. I have two. And they aren’t massive ones.

Oral Roberts over Duke
Kennasaw State over Xavier

Really like Furman over Virginia
Same. I've got Kent State over Indiana too. Classic 12/13 matchup in R32 against Drake.

Not sure what everyone is talking about, Miami is easily the weakest 5 and Drake is the most balanced 12.

Honestly...been debating an upset no one is talking about and Dan does it. He loves the Big 12...

Which upset? He’s got multiple. I turned in a bracket at work where everyone thought i was a big 12 homer, but he beats me.

ALL of the USAToday expert brackets have Duke in the Final Four and some title game. Unreal.
I watched them some in the conference tourney and they looked good but with all the media love and media people picking them to go far I went from having them in the elite 8bto losing in the 2nd round. I actually wouldn't be shocked if Oral Roberts beats them

I was surprised to see most of the ESPN panelists all picking Texas. I get they are talented and the hot pick right now, but wonder if the Sasser injury is worst than some are letting on. NONE of them have any faith in Purdue to even get to the elite 8. I know they haven't got a good track record, but who can guard Edey?

Duke is full of freshmen who have never played in the NCAAs. Everyone is jumping on that bandwagon now after they've won 10 straight...in a VERY bad ACC. Also first year coach despite how good of an assistant he was under Coach K. Oral Roberts is a lot of the same team that went to Sweet 16 two years ago. They're old. They're experienced. I think they can win. Didn't think so when brackets came out but Duke is screaming of Iowa last year. Get hot and beat average teams and everyone picks you to go far.

This. The "experts" are just talking heads, and they love to talk about who just won what conf tournament. It's top of mind, and easy. Harder to talk about why Kansas didn't have any juice to play defense on day 3 due to being gassed from playing ISU and lacking depth.

Don't walk, RUN from the teams "everybody" is picking... that goes for both the top seeds and the trendy upsets.
