I've been wondering about this - is Milan really more of a PF than Omaha? I was thinking Milan was a '3' and Omaha was a '4' (although both are clearly "wings")

Also interesting analysis in that Asuna would fill in the blank at "CG" and Rock would fill in the "Post", right?
Milan is the perfect stretch 4 in college basketball.

Omaha can play 3-5 on offense and guard 1-5.

Lipsey
Grill
transfer guard/wing
Omaha
Transfer Big

Williams is your backup PG
Momcilovic will play A TON

The lineup I want to see is

Lipsey
Grill
Omaha
Momcilovic
Grant Basile type transfer who can shoot.

3/5 are shooters if a pass first PG and a star who's developing a nice shot or can blow by a smaller guard and FINISH at the rim.

Hard to convince a transfer pg to come in next year, knowing Tamin will be playing 30 mpg, barring injury. A scoring guard, like Holmes, who can handle backup pg duties, would seem a more likely target.
that's kinda what I was referring to. Just a combo that could handle pg duties when necessity calls whether it be injury/foul trouble/etc.

Does anyone know if Isaac Asuma's little brother Noah (a freshman) is as talented as his older brother and if Iowa State might recruit him as well?

People from Minnesota boards have mentioned him before so he must be on P5 radars already.

Daniel Frietag hasn't committed anywhere unless it happened today. Wisconsin is the only program I have seen that is prioritizing him in basketball. Honestly I think he may choose to pursue football as he has NFL potential going that route.
Ur right I mixed him up with Taison Chatman

Can't believe how far ahead we are with the 24-25 roster. Likely start with 8 returnees ( not Omaha). Then Rock, Indrasultis, and hopefully Assuna. After that add a couple transfers. Center to pair with Rock at the five and the best wing shooter available.

What is the connection? Back-up plan for Asuma or is that recruitment not going well?
Everything I've seen has Asuma is the priority guard for the class and the staff is in strong contention.

Staff has the luxury having Nojus and JT committed to evaluate other players as backup plans or potential later transfer relationships if they like a prospect. We know the staff doesn't rest so I just think it is diligence.

Asuma would have blue blood offers if he played for a major school (I bet there is less than 500 people within a 5-mile radius of the school). The fact that he plays an hour NW of Duluth REALLY helps us. As long as we are making him the priority.

Offering a kid from AZ seems strange. Wonder if there is a connection like there was for Jelani Hamilton.

I see he played for D1 MINNESOTA AAU over the summer which I believe is the top program right now in the state. He got a ton of offers after summer ball. My guess is that is rating will go up. But I agree, playing basketball for a smaller school has probably helped us.
