Feel like by 2025 we will see a college coach make $15M per year. By then the SEC & Big 10 will be in their new deals with ESPN and Fox&Friends respectively.

I mean, what are these schools going to spend the money on? Give some back to the university. Invest in Olympic Sports. Daily lobster & Kobe steaks at training table.

They could divert current alumni donations to NIL funds- but not sure the current NIL model is sustainable.

So just a matter of time before Dabo, Lincoln, Kirby or some bright young coach is making $15M.

This is the most likely scenario. I think you'll see NIL deals decrease in value for younger classmen, but could see upperclassmen still getting what we see today, once they've proved themselves a little.

Jimbo brought down Florida State program and it's still suffering. I don't get the Jimbo Hype. If he didn't have the best quarterback in college football one year at Florida state, he would have been fired from florida state eventually.

I read this morning that not only does Jimbo get his entire payout if he gets fired. AND there is no adjustment if he gets another coaching job. So technically he could go work somewhere else for a large salary and A&M will still have to pay.

I wonder how A&M would feel if Jimbo was on the staff at LSU or Texas and they still had to pay him every year. How fun would that be??

Looking back, I made the wrong career choice. I should have been an agent for college football coaches.
