He's acting like he has his coach already in the bag...or he's not making a change.

It would obviously be a financial decision to keep him but it would be enlightening to hear what sort of coaching metric Pollard would use in the public statements/announcements.

And not just that, why leave Prohm hanging like this if you're going to keep him anyway?

JP and Prohm could have, you know, private conversations that we don’t know about. Just a thought.

Not saying that’s the case or Prohm is staying, just commenting on your post.

Maybe Jamie has more than one candidate in which stringing out Steve isn’t impacting our chances. Maybe there’s wavering on the agreed to deal as Prohm has trouble lining up a landing spot.
Maybe everyone on this message board is full of **** and no one here has any idea what's going on.

I just don't believe that JP would make the huge PR error of not prepping the fan base for that over the last few weeks, if it were in the realm of possibilities.

Exactly. He knows everyone is expecting a change and the fan base reaction to keeping Prohm would range from terribly disappointed to downright outraged.

When McDermott left Jamie did say he was ready to “go into the bunker” and defend McDermott.

If JP has too much going with track and the committee to take care of this by now then he should have fired Prohm before the conference tourney.

Today and tomorrow is when you’ll see all of the changes. It’s happening now - Indiana, Minnesota, DePaul. More will come. I’d guess we hear something later tonight or tomorrow.

I'm assuming prohm is not in the dark currently
Didn’t Prohm say the meeting was today? I still think that’s true, but some are believing it won’t be because of XC. Which if true, would suggest that recently Prohm didn’t even know when his end of year meeting would be.

Imo they meet today. Whether it gets announced or not, that may depend on the a few things
