Anyone else hearing that JP has already decided Prohm is coming back?

I said something like this earlier, but if it does end up being TJ I'll be fine with it. I think he's a better fit here than UNLV and could have success.

The issue is that it seems like Pollard would just hand the job to him. I prefer Jamie does his diligence on all interested candidates, and hires the best one in the end. TJ or not.

I’m in agreement with this and think TJ can succeed here if he makes the right moves. He can’t be stubborn like Prohm he’s going to have to change.

I really hope Jamie demands certain things from TJ too. I’d be so disappointed if Jamie would just hand the job to TJ because they are buddies. That’s incredibly incompetent.

I see this a lot and what difference does it make if what you think is playing out is true or not? Either way TJ would be the coach if your scenario.

I don’t think that’s what is happening though? Unless you have some kind of inside knowledge that’s a pretty substantial accusation to make.

During the last search Jeremy posted that Pollard wanted to give TJ the job instead of vetting all candidates. Hindsight, probably would've been the better move than Prohm, but here we are. I hope you're right and that's not what's happening this time around, but it wouldn't surprise me.

It's not a secret that Pollard and TJ are close friends. This is a very crucial hire for Jamie; if he hires his buddy and TJ ends up failing that ends up being a stain on his legacy. And I don't want to see that.

And we will never know if TJ is just handed the job. Jamie will never admit it. TJ should never admit it (and should practice his answer about interest in the job).

The problem is that the perception could always be that Jamie hired him because they are friends. The argument against this is that they could be friends because Jamie thinks he’s an up snd coming coach.

It’s a messy situation that isn’t completely fair. But that’s life.

Fred is not a pipe dream if JP wants it.

Then he should make it happen, unless he has some other exceptional candidate tucked away somewhere. Fred is by far the most qualified of the candidates regularly discussed on here.

Fred reached out in the last month

Look...I have no reason to doubt you, and I know its taboo to bring up sources, but are you SURE you have gotten factual information? I know a pretty good friend of his once in the business and he is not saying that.

There are about eight people validating it here with what they are hearing. That’s close to double digit sources.

If it's TJ, and he's not successful, JP will get lots of heat for hiring his friend. JP has posted several times visiting TJ when he was in SD and now Vegas. On the other hand, if TJ had success JP looks like he was grooming the next head coach.

Buckle up, y'all! Lol
50/50. Either works or it doesn't

Of all the speculative predictions, JP's actions / visits following TJ are a strong basis for TJ getting an offer. And I'm not too crazy about that.
