Anyone else hearing that JP has already decided Prohm is coming back?

With our luck we will win and delay it a day.

I keed. I keed.
Can you imagine though? I could see us getting one as the guys have come close....but can you imagine if say we won, then some UNI COVID type situation hit, and somehow we had a shot at the tourney with a win? Stranger things have happened.

I'd love if the guys could get the Wednesday game for the seniors to have something positive.

I've read it from a few different, well- connected individuals. It has definitely happened, whether or not he's truly interested is another thing.

Just curious, but in these scenarios, is the coach's agent the one doing the connecting so he also gets more money out of an extension for said coach to stay put? Or does the coach have to initiate(approve) it?

Lol he got an extension for winning the conference tournament and proceeded to go 14-42 in back-to-back years, only beating 6 total P-5 teams and not winning a single game on the road.

I’d say he’s had a pretty fair shot.

The lead up to the conference tourney championship was just odd. Bad on bad in 6 games but beating OU and KSU.

The NCAA tourney game was just a microcosm of the season and maybe of CSP's tenure.

I can't say that stranger things have happened than a 2 win team ending up in the Conference Tournament Championship boosted by a global pandemic.

Agree on the last sentence though. A win would be great, don't care if it delays the 'announcement'.

No chance we beat OU. They’ve lost 4 straight and will be looking to stomp someone to get their confidence back.

K State hasn’t said anything more than Iowa State has so it’s not like they have the upper hand or anything..

Anyone see this?

Assuming this is true there are quite a few Midwest schools gonna be looking.

Iowa State
Kansas State
Minnesota

those for sure

Depaul
Notre Dame
Marquette
Nebraska
Drake

those are possible and some domino effect openings

Not sure why anyone is shocked that there could be a huge amount of openings this year. Basically no school had an opening a year ago due to Covid so many like us are ready to make the move now. Gonna be lots of movement.
