Oh, I got your point about claiming JP hires coaches because they go to his church. That's just laughable.
He may go to the same church, but he certainly didn't when he hired him.
Its laughable you dont think it came up in the hiring process last time around.
I wouldn't want a coach like Fran at all. But the fact is he took over an absolutely garbage team and built the program into at least being competitive and solid. Prohm did the opposite. I know who I'd rather have right now.
Unless you were part of the hiring process and an advisor to JP, you should stop asserting things like this. Did JP care that he was hiring an ethical coach? I'm sure he did. Requiring high moral character and requiring a coach to be Christian are not the same thing, even if there's overlap in the Venn diagram. You should really stop with this nonsense.
I dont want a rage monster for a coach, but being able to get a technical and work the refs is an important part of this level of coaching. One that neither prohm nor hoiberg are(were?) great at. A timely technical, or getting on the refs can completely change the way the game gets called. I dont like it, but it is what it is.

Yes it is illegal to ask age, religion etc etc when hiring for your new Accounting opening, but this is not what is being discussed here.
Actually you can; you can ask whatever you want.
Though if that candidate does not get the job you may face some repercussions, and you may find that your own job security quickly lessens.

I worry that Dixon has Prohm figured out. He's going to pick-and-roll us to death until we can stop it.
