If we don't win the Big XII this year...

I have to wonder if it will ever happen. We have our best team ever and the Big XII looks to be ripe for the picking since everyone except Texas is way down. Just have to wonder if this isn't OUR TIME, when will it ever be our time.

We lost to Louisiana. By double digits.

Purdy isn't leaving.
If Purdy ends up leaving he'll have played a lot better the rest of the season than he did in the first two games. Honestly thought he played pretty well outside of the play that shall not be talked about against TCU. But, he will have to play a lot better to achieve a high enough draft pick to warrant leaving and I think that would equate to a good season in the W/L column.

Purdy has played probably 2 of his 4 worst games to start the season. So he has to get back in form and our defense has to play to their potential before we can even think about winning most of our games. Purdy has always been so accurate but even Saturday his passes were off target even when they were caught. He is throwing behind crossing routes and other than Scates he is not dropping his throws into the hands the way we have become accustomed to.

Fandom sine wave week to week.

Let's wait a few more weeks, maybe about 8, before we crown anybody anything.

You are right that the opportunity seems ripe for the picking this year, but I’m still very underwhelmed by our offense and our DB’s.

oSu, Texas, K-State are not way down. Come on, man. This may be Gundy's best team if he can get his QB back. I do agree that this is a great opportunity for ISU given OU already has a home loss, and their next game is in Ames.
I think his overall point is that the Big 12 isn’t great.

If the comparison is the SEC, it's fair to say the B12 is down, maybe. Otherwise, I don't buy it.

Sagarin has 6 SEC teams and 4 B12 teams in his top twenty; 4 from the B10; 2 ACC; 2 P12. If the B12 is down, what's that say for the other "larger" leagues?

Everyone basis their league strength on the CFP finals, which skews their view toward Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State, rather than making a judgment on overall conference strength. They are top-heavy.

We play in the Big 12.

"What is Brock Purdy doing?". Reading his press clippings - thinking he is Russell Wilson.

We play in the Big 12.

8 defensive backs, and we give up touchdowns down the middle on passes with no one near?

We play in the Big 12.

Seriously, i know we have to promote Brock to attract good players, but Coach IS telling him when he sucks, right?

Thank God we have Breece. Without him, disaster.
