I saw that and tried to track it a bit. There's also a report that the gas station owner said the police confiscated his videos but he "looked at all of it before they took it and the four swimmers weren't on the video". Lots of stories flying round down there...

The way I read it is that Lochte said they got the cab at a gas stations and were robbed at a different gas station. Supposedly video never shows them at the first one, although if I grab a cab just outside the gas station, I probably would say I got the cab at a gas station, but wouldn't be on the surveillance video.

On the hand, Lochte changing his story from "pulled over and robbed" to "stopped at a gas station and was robbed" doesn't sound good. The police also supposedly found the taxi driver.

On another note if what the gas station guy said (saw video and swimmers not on it) is true, I bet that guy becomes the victim of an "accident".

Glad the women's relay gets another shot but the commentators were comically bad. They are blabbing that not sure what happened on that exchange, and my kid is yelling at the TV that Felix was interfered with. They watch it multiple times and think she is injured and kid still yelling at TV that she was bumped. All the video in the world and they don't figure it out until they ask Felix.

Yes. Brazilian third leg was set up on the inside edge of her lane and swung her arm clear into the US lane as she started off. It was timed perfectly to nail the US runner. She lost her stride and wasn't going to catch her teammate so she tried to throw the baton forward.

They are going to let them run again tonight by themselves and see if they qualify by time to move on. Felix was smart and told the other runner on the exchange exactly what they needed to do.

Must be smarter than NBC announcers, they watched it several times and didn't even notice the interference and thought she was injured. Maybe this is why they show so much tape delay, they can fix some of their stupid.
