Pants, need some advice as you seem to be one of the few dudes with any sense of fashion in here. Going to a work conference this week. Most everyone there is 40-50 years old that are well established with their lives together and then there is me who is probably the youngest person in a crowd of over 1500 people. Pretty much need to act like I belong.
Most of the time will be wearing company polo and dress pants or just business casual. A few times need to dress up a bit more. I don't wanna do a full suit and tie, thinking about doing a dress pants, shirt, and jacket. Any thoughts on brand or color of jacket? Pry gonna do navy pants so was thinking white shirt and grey jacket.
Not looking at spending a butt load just wanna make it seem like I'm not completely out of place among old rich dudes
I don't think those dislikes in the buttons are the same as what shows for Bags & I in the page that WDSM screen-capped, mostly because over the course of a couple of days I got a large number of dislikes in the cave from 78 & Taz...and that number (2) has not changed on the page. I think Arob is right that they were something on the new site that was quickly removed.the one dislike I have is from someone in the cutting the cord thread on a post where I said we dropped cable and hadn't regretted it. That was from like last fall but the thread got bumped a few weeks ago. It was very odd.
Agree with the light blue if you have grey jacket/navy pants. The white would be a little stark...particularly if you're going for a relaxed look. White is good if you're going to be buttoned up the entire time, but blue is better with the open jacket.I'm assuming a light gray? I'd do like a light gray or light brown/camel colored with navy pants. Personally, if I were wearing a gray jacket, I'd go with a light blue shirt instead of a white. White would look fine with a tanish colored jacket.
Wasn't there also an usher or other employee who proposed too? Some rugby girls I think I don't remember the country.
Yeah, I thought it was odd that things like dislike or disagree oren't considered negative.I don't think those dislikes in the buttons are the same as what shows for Bags & I in the page that WDSM screen-capped, mostly because over the course of a couple of days I got a large number of dislikes in the cave from 78 & Taz...and that number (2) has not changed on the page. Consequently, I have been enshrined as one of the most disliked posters on CF.![]()

That'd be my guess.then maybe it's the bad spelling one pants gave me?

WDSM, don't worry about completely fitting in. Us old dudes are fine with younger people being semi modern. Just be respectful. To avoid sticking out, just keep the hair under conservative styling and avoid skin tight clothes (especially no skinny pants). Your personality is more important.
Was at a wedding party and a friend's daughters fiance was a little out there (ok just modern fashion probably) on clothes, but was pleasant and knowing a few of us had some drinks and were trying to figure out how to get back to the hotel, told us he would get an Uber or us (we had never heard of it) and things like that. We left with a positive impression of him.
