In the midst of another 14-16 hour day, my dream is to step outside and take care of the lawn.

So after celebrating a birthday Thursday we did the state fair for 10hrs on Friday and Adventureland for 11.5 yesterday. Both the younger 2 usually still nap but somehow powered through with little to no meltdowns.

I have not been to Adventureland in almost 25 years. Our older 2 have gone recently, and even my hubby went a couple years ago. The plan was for hubby and the 2 oldest to ride the Monster first thing at 10am. They did that while I took the 2 littler ones on a few things. I should have gone right after them because by the time we got back to that area of the park, the line was too long. I did get to do a few things.

Could not imagine doing state fair and adventureland back to back. I used to go to AdventureLand on a regular basis but haven't been back in like 18 years, but would like to go back.

I haven't seen much hype for it yet. Chuckles is a tough act to follow, though. I am actually looking forward to a remake that will be opening in 2-3 weeks...Magnificent Seven. Because Denzel & Chris.

Going to be a tough act to follow given Yul Brynner, Eli Wallach, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn and Robert Vaughn but, like the old "Oceans" movies, this is ripe for a remake.
