They haven't been favored in a long time, sir, even pre-Yadi injury. The Royals and Blue Jays have pretty much been favorites all year. The Cards have the same odds as the Dodgers at 6/1, and the Mets (11/2), Royals (9/2) and Blue Jays (4/1) are all ahead of them

You may be somewhat right on the Royals (depending on the time/website), but not the B-Jays. It was questionable if they were a playoff team in early August.

Royals were favorites for most the year...Blue Jays overtook them in early-mid August. Regardless, the Cardinals have pretty much never been favored, as you claimed they were currently (while boasting your baseball knowledge).
