If I'm reading the stat book right our next home win will be our 500th in Hilton, and will give us a .750 winning record in our building. While I expected that to be higher based on Iowa's .765 record in Carver it's definitely nothing to scoff at. Here's hoping our next 500 are even better!

Only lost 10 times (at home) since CFH has taken over (6 were in his first year with what McD left him roster wise) and a couple of those were KU screwjobs.

As Boxster said there was some BAD bb before Johnny came. Johnny set things up pretty well for those who followed, and now we are seeing some of the best teams coming thru Hilton thanks Fred. Johnny's teams were awesome at home but rough on the road. Looking forward to being there for #500.

So, New Years eve against MVSU should be the 500th win in Hilton and Hoiberg's 100th win! Big night to end the year!

Last 12 years of Glen Anderson gave us Armory Mini-Magic of only .649

My freshman year we were 11-2 at home so I thought we were good in basketball. We really weren't but we were good at home that year. Lost every single road game and won only one away from home (neutral site) to finish 12-14. Talk about liking the home cookin'!

If my memory is correct, six of those losses were of Fred's first year? I know he has only lost one home game each of the last two years (Kansas), and I believe two in his second year (UNI and Mizzou)

Wayne Morgan wasn't so great in Hilton either. A lot of home losses in his last 2 years. Still nothing like McDoormat though.

I'm back in Iowa and finally catching a game...and it'll be Hoiberg going for #99, missed it by one. But at least I will see the first FULLY OPERATIONAL BATTLE STATION game with ISU at full strength.

Pre-Johnny record (1971-1980): 70-46; .603
McDermott record (2007-2010): 48-24; .667

Shows just not how well Johnny did, but also the TF/LE years, obviously Hoiberg. Fans can go overboard but this is one thread where the fans should pat themselves on the back too, they're a very very big part of it. Even the easy target students and old people.

Here's what I came up with, I may be off one or two since I counted off the schedules:

Orr:152-44 (77.6%)
Floyd:50-15 (76.9%)
Eustachy: 71-13 (84.5%)
Hoiberg: 67-10 (87.0%)

And 9 of those losses for Eustachy came from his last 2 abysmal seasons in 2001-02 (10th in Big 12) and 2002-03 (9th in Big 12)

And we probably wouldn't have Fred without Johnny.

God I love that man more and more each day.

There's probably a 36-0 or something like that in there for when floor coach Tinsley played two years.

Fred's % will be through the roof as that first season becomes less and less of a %.
