Big bake got something baking all right. A crock full of bs
I think maybe the Bake, doesn't have anything to do with flour, sugar and eggs. I'm thinking it's why he's having trouble keeping his eyelids far enough apart to read.

Something a little off-topic maybe, but I did not want to start yet another BDJ thread........
I totally agree with what Fred had to do......BDJ put him in a position where Fred had no other choice.
However, I'm not so sure it is a good idea that BDJ travel with the team to Iowa City. Seems to me it is just going to be a distraction for him, the coaches, and the team. Or is Fred doing it so BDJ can be subjected to the verbal abuse that Hawk fans will no doubt direct his way? Does Fred just want to show him firsthand the consequences of his actions on the team?
I don't know.....it just seems to me to be not such a good idea to have him any where near the team on this game.
C'mon Blake, can't you read?!More charges coming per Jeff goodman on twitter. This ain't over unfortunately.

This would have been a ridiculous new thread, so I just want to thank you for pumping the brakes on this one. Remember this is just a noise violation situation, about as minor as you can get. Got blown out of proportion by the media.
Seriously? The majority of the time there was no violation. I don't get how anyone can look at that and say there is something else going on as well.
Everyone on the team is in full support of Bryce. Jameel has said "we are one" on social media multiple times. Having him not travel with the team would make it seem like he's not even part of the team anymore. That would be an even bigger distraction, making Bryce feel ostracized and leaving the guys without their teammate. Not like he's under murder charges or anything.Something a little off-topic maybe, but I did not want to start yet another BDJ thread........

I don't know that he's suggesting him not travelling as a sort of punishment or to take him away from the team. I take it to mean why subject Bryce to a very hostile, rivalry crowd when he has almost nothing to offer in return for the abuse. I'd agree with your point if it were a home game. I agree with Dryburn's point of why subject him to hawk fans if he won't play.
Then again - perhaps Fred just wants to keep him in sight.....
If he's stranded in Ames alone tonight, I imagine that would lead to a lot of weed, video games and pizza late tonight.
wink:
Give me a break. It's a one game suspension for a noise violation. What precedent would there be for him NOT to travel with the team? If our guys can't handle that "distraction" than this is going to be a long season.
Can someone get me a Bo Pelini style cat photo of Fred Hoiberg holding a cat with Jarnell McKat's face on it?
See, but that still should include Nader. I think that it is either whose pot it really was. Not necessarily his but if it was his brothers or his friends I could see Fred being like don't let others bring that around and get caught with it. The other reason I can think of is he felt like because of the media circus he had to.I don't know why it is so tough for people to understand that it isn't the noise complaint he's being suspended for. If that was the case Nader would be suspended as well, since he has the same number of complaints and was in the apartment when BDJ got arrested. He's being suspended for publicly being a ******* and making the program look bad, and not following through after having lots of chances to stop escalating what should be a trivial issue.
Ever tried to break an apartment lease due to "loud neighbor"? Good luck with that. No, but we have come to the consensus that kicking him off the team is idiotic which he seemed to think was the appropriate punishment. This is a lot of petty bickering from both sides that would be best fixed by one party moving somewhere else. Neither party is a horrible person because of it, but both parties are immature about it.
It was BDJ's name in the police blotter and all over the major sports news sites, not Nader. Not sure why you aren't grasping that. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebas...es-put-himself-and-his-school-in-a-tough-spotSee, but that still should include Nader.
