The FBS wins in football are impressive for an FCS school. But that is one game a year and I'm not sure wins again CSU and Western Michigan are something to use as proof we "belong". But since you always bring up bball and a softball win from 5 years ago I decided to dive a little further into the numbers of NDSU against power 5 schools on a handful of sports since becoming D1. Some totals may be a little different as some schools were in different conferences at the time of playing NDSU but I lumped them in with their current conference. I also added games against UNI and Drake for a local flavor but are not added to power 5 totals. I will let the numbers speak for themselves.

Geez Farmin, how much time did you put into finding this info? So you are trying to prove Lakes like to emblish some things? That was shown about 200 pages ago. Wouldn't your time been better spent working on your tailgate rig or having a beer with your friends talking about how ISU is going to annihilate NDSU?
Lakes, you should hand out little packets of green and gold glitter when you are signing autographs in their tailgate. Kind of symbolizes the pixie dust some of the posters need to have sprinkled on them. You have had GTO, ribs, thomrick and some others frothing at the mouth for 8 mos with typical trash talk. They don't seem to realize you are pretty harmless. The site admin was brilliant for keeping Lakes around. Talk about a site traffic driver.
Now about the game. Bibbs concerns me. He is big and fast. I am hoping Beck and Heagle will be defending him. Both of those guys can put the wood to receivers. Hopefully a couple solid tackles/hits will make Bibbs a little more tenative in his routes and catches.
I think our run defense will be good. I worry about the long ball from ISU. We got burned a couple times with KSU. To me, if there is one position group that FBS distances itself from FCS, it is the wide receivers. That extra .10-.20 sec or 1 or 2 inches in height can obviously make a difference. I hope the stripes let them play ball.
My predictions:
NDSU will have more rushing yards. ISU will have more passing yards.
Both of QB will throw a INT.
Changing my score prediction from 27 - 10 to 27 - 14 NDSU. Bibbs scores one of the TD's. I think that you will have a good day passing but hopefully it won't turn into too many points. Hope the weather works in our favor. Remember its just a game.
