I don't want Vaughn anymore. The more I think about it, the more I believe Vaughn must be a complete a-hole or he is just plain dumb. UNLV is a joke, Rice is a joke, Vaughn will be a joke too.

Don't be an idiot. You don't know a think about Vaughn except that he chose UNLV over us. Not saying I do know anything about him, but we have no right to call an 18 year old kid an a-hole or dumb just because he didn't choose ISU.

Quietly, if there is indeed some cheating going on in house and Rashad comes crying back to Hoiberg I hope coach leads him on a little, signs some guys who really want to be here and then tell him were out of scholies.

I would rather want a transfer who has a chip on his shoulder rather than an entitled 18 year old with a mentor.

That's right. We don't need talented players coming to play at Iowa State. Let Kansas have him.

for those that did read the article about UNLV finances, I wonder why we can do it (albeit not make much money) but the main school in a metro of 2 million people can't make enough money. shows you how important that TV deal was for ISU/Big 12.

hmmmmm...this is a tough one, pretty clear something shady went down here, obviously a fantastic player, just wonder if it is worth it

No.

Bluford, Kane, Bubu, Ejim
Custer, McKay, open, open

We only have 2 schollies available. Unfortunately.

People need to realize that as long as Fred is here, we will have as many open scholarships as we need. He knows how to manage a roster.

I'm thinking the same thing.

Of course, I'm sure I'd welcome RV if he wants to come. If he came here, and had his head on straight, we'd contend for a National Championship next year IMO. He is EXACTLY the guy we would need next year. An awesome two guard that can really shoot it, and can drive it as well.

I know talk of a National Title is quite lofty, but I would stand by it. We are a GREAT combo 2 guard away next year IMO.

You'd be crazy not to take him. Even though Fred doesn't use the numbers system, he can be the 2 or the 3.

If we get him and Lee (transfer) we become not only the deepest but probably second most, if not THE most, talented team in the Big XII.

Regardless if he comes here or not, we're going to be a solid team next season. Would love to have him as he would make a great impact on the team, but we will be fine without him.

Vaughn aside I can't see how Rice won't take the money and run; if he doesn't make the Tourny with that much talent he would be fired or on the hottest seat u can imagine. He would be getting 3x more money at USF, and it sounds like UNLV can't afford any pay raises

I am amazed at the number of fans who are so upset he chose UNLV that they no longer want him. Logic of that is mind boggling.

say you propose to the love of your life and she says no. then goes and gets engaged to someone else. turns out her new man is broke and she leaves him. do you take her back?
