Kinnick was a morgue last year. I'm assuming you haven't been to many other college stadiums if you think Kinnick is intimidating right now

I've been to my share the last 3 seasons, and Kinnick can hold its own- and unless you have season tickets and go to every home game, you post has no merit. That's like me going to one game at Trice and declaring it a morgue. your opinion on this is like most your posts concerning the Hawks- mostly crap.A few decent ones thrown in by accident. But you are entertaining-just like MikeyM and Jamby.

Since you have season tickets at what game would you say Kinnick held it's own last season? The Penn State game when fans were booing and throwing towels at the players/recruits?

Everyone has an opinion, I think yours is badly biased. To be fair the only game of memory that was not good IMO was the penn state game . After we lost our 2offensive linemen, we got throttled and it was pretty quiet the ret of the game-just like in jack trice when we throttled you guys with Austin throwing all those interceptions. I was there and it got the crowd real quiet . Just like MOST stadiums would be.

I'm not saying Jack Trice doesn't get quiet when ISU is playing horribly, because it does, but Iowa fans saying Kinnick's atmosphere is intimidating or anywhere close to what it used to be when they were winning is laughable. Just check out a photo of Carver-Blackeye or Browneye or whatever you guys call it from the past six years. Hawk fans have developed quite a reputation in the last 10 years: full and loud when good, empty and quiet like a morgue when not. If you look up bandwagon in the dictionary, I think this is exactly what it talks about.

I don't think it's the season ticket holders whose opinion matters on whether or not Kinnick is still an intimidating place to play. Apparently the likes of Central Michigan and lowly Iowa State don't think it is anymore, and that matters a whole lot more than any fans.

I don't want to alarm anybody, but I think hell has frozen over. I'm agreeing with CyTwins.

Kinnick was dead last year. The reasons for it were obvious, and it isn't deniable. I also don't think you want to claim Kinnick as "indimidating" last year when the team lost to Central Michigan and Purdue at home.
