This got me to laugh a little:
If only we could be so lucky to have this movie happen in real life.
SENATE POWDER TESTS POSITIVE FOR RICIN (Update -- 16 PEOPLE DECONTAMINATED) This has happened before. I don't recall them ever catching this guy. I have a feeling these are unrelated. I barely remembered this. There are great similarities in this and what happened in 2004.

I want to say the anthrax happened later.....like October? This is just a random Senator though..........unless I missed something I don't think he's done anything notable lately. Seems like an odd target.
If it doesn't hurt your arm, it isn't tight enough. Put it one joint above the bleeding.
It's interesting because all the mail is delivered to the Senate and House office buildings after they've been irradiated at another location. It's not as if a postal truck just pulls up with all the letters sent to Harry Reid and are dropped in his office.

I agree. This seems likely to have been sent before the bombings, and if so, the timing makes it seem connected.
The pattern is so similar, it makes you wonder if it isn't related to this other letter that happened in 2004.
That's kind of what I thought. Here in Chicago yesterday morning, a guy was taken into custody on the train platform for saying he was going to blow up a train. I have heard other things in other cities. It does seem like the crazies/copy cats come out for these things.
I wish we know who honestly did this
I wonder if the crazy who did this is waiting until April 19th to claim responsibility? April 19th is the anniversary of both the fiery end of the Waco siege and the Oklahoma City bombing.
The 20th is when Columbine happened and is also Hitler's birthday. Kind of dark couple days on the calendar.

here's another one. Someone on 4chan claims to have tied the backpack that the bomb was in to a person in the crowd, using pictures taken of the scene. Purely speculative. Guy just could have had a similar backpack.

yeah, that's not exactly an uncommon looking backpack. well, if nothing else, I'm sure the FBI has access to the same info, and will follow up on it as they see fit. I imagine the amount of video and photographs of the event is staggering.
