"@MurphyKeith: Saints lose their head coach for a year, $500,000, and two second round draft picks. That should end team-run bounties."
"@JayGlazer: Saints had planned to have Joe Vitt take over for Sean Payton as interim head coach but Vitt banned now as well"
They'll sign someone most likely.I don't know why Denver traded him. I wouldn't feel real confident with mannings health. He hasn't proved he can play and every sack could make you cringe. Tebow may not have been great, but what are their other backups like.

That is my point, kinda. You will still need to find someone, but at least tebow had seen the offense. Maybe delhomme will show up. Can't remember anymore Carolina qbs.
Lin and Tebow in the same city! Thought Tebowmania was big in Denver? Imagine how big it will be in New York.
except Tebow would be a terrible backup QB for a guy like Manning. We saw exactly what he can do in a more typical pro offense. It does not suit him. The Broncos had to tailor the offense to him, and even then they were in the bottom third of the league in offense and 25th in scoring. If he's the backup, you're not going to tailor the offense to him. Your not going to waste time in practice, prepping your team for a completely different offensive set than the one Peyton runs, on the off chance that he gets hurt.
I am not so sure why there is such shock about the Saints. A system that pays players to hurt people, probably borders on being criminal in nature, I am sure the NFL wants to set itself apart from that.
There is a huge difference between a guy trying to hurt another player with a big hit, to a guy getting rewarded for injuring another player with a big hit.
Payton and Williams should both lose there jobs, sucks for the Rams, but do you really want to be associated with this. I am sure at some point some one will sue, the Saints, possibly Payton or Williams, for loss of pay due to an injury sustained while playing against the them.
Who was the starter in Denver? I thought tebow came in during the season, if he did and the other qb is still there, it would make a lot more sense to me. Does Denver grab a qb in the draft also, manning is not a long term solution.
Sean Payton suspended for 1 year
Gregg Williams suspended indefinitely
Tebow traded to jets for 4th rounder
I think Elway needed to find a valid excuse to get Tebow out of town, hence the Manning acquisition. If Manning plays...great. If not, at least Tebow is out of town.I don't know why Denver traded him. I wouldn't feel real confident with mannings health. He hasn't proved he can play and every sack could make you cringe.
