SDSU interested in Big 12

San Diego State interested in Big 12. Just saw on "The Experts".

They want in the Big 12, but the Big 12 has said no thanks. Rather, it was reported that Nienas has never returned their calls.

Cue Lakebison.... Cause there is only 1 SDSU out there. And they rule at tailgating and can beat Minnesota.

If I hear Craig James pimp SMU deserving to be in a BCS league again this year I'm going to flip. He helped destroy the school and then tries to be a saint now. What a joke...

While we are at it.... Tulane is just as big of a joke. Next UNI will out out a statement

A friend of mine from the University of Texas Sports information department tells me tonight to look for Boise State, Louisville and West Virginia. He tells me that Mizzou is gone!
Take that for what it's worth. I'm not a name dropper or think I'm an insider. I'm just relaying some info that was granted to me.

Kick out Mizzou then add BYU, Louisville, and West Virginia.

Won't happen, but I would get a good laugh at the expense of Mizzou if this actually happened

Craig James is just a scumbag, period.

On 810 the other day one of the guys said that to give a big slap in the face to MU if they leave bring up Missouri State. He knows it's not an option but said it would a good F-U to the tigers because MU refuses to ever play them so they can't get up to the type of UNI level. Kind of shocking but Missouri State has an undergrad of 25K.

Perhaps I am a bit biased, but SDSU is a sleeping giant waiting for the right opportunity. Big school in a fantastic location that loses ithe best local kids because they are in the MWC (take a look at local high school talent and you will see a long list of NFL and major college football stars). If they were to move in to a major conference they will be a significant program. Having said all that, they are not a geographic fit for the Big12.

What's the status of Qualcomm?

What's the status of Qualcomm?

Either they build a new stadium for the Chargers (we can't afford it) and the Aztecs will have access to it, or the Chargers move and the Aztecs will continue to use Qualcom. If they join a major conference, perhaps they can afford to build an on-campus stadium, they have space adjacent to the basketball arena.

I love Qualcom. People always want the newest bells and whistles, but Qualcom is a great game-day atmosphere (it was even better for baseball, I don't know why they needed to build Petco). Pleenty of space for tailgating, a trolly stop on sight, good sightlines..... Man I enjoy Qualcom.

Why can't people get it through their heads that we are not going to kick anyone out?
