How many TDs vs UNI?

That's because they are all over on Hawkeye Nation.
Hard to make time for UNI when you are sucking Herky's schlong.
 
I'm always nervous about UNI. I'm going with an ISU victory of just 27-13.

We don't have a QB, and we'll be rusty.
 
I'm guessing UNI tries to slow the game down and keep it close. They keep it slow but fail to keep it close. We struggle on offense. Couple of turnovers help UNI get FGs. Defense solid otherwise. Final score of 20-6.
 
I think UNI's QB was much better by the end of the season than he was when we played him. I look for Renne to put up a pair of Tds.

Im thinking this year. Shontrelle himself doubles last years output, JW gets one and Tiller hits Darks for one.

Do you know who our QB was last year when we played UNI? His name is Jerome Tiller and is still on the roster. So I'm not worried much about that since Jantz is going to be our starter.

Rusty? Does ISU not get as much practice time as UNI? Does UNI play the week before?

Where do people come up with this crap?

And how did said QB do against the worst defense we faced all season?:eek:

You are right that he did not do anything but he really did not need to. The defense scored those TD's in the 3rd quarter and the offense just shut it down in the 4th.

I'm not saying JT is Joe Montana but worrying about UNI this year because we don't have a QB is kind of dumb when we have the same QB as last year plus he is going to be passed on the depth chart.

No one should worry about UNI. Not one bit. ISU is superior in all facets of the game.
 
If i remember correctly, we have played UNI 5 times since 2000.

3 of those times we weren't god awful terrible.

2001: 45-0 cyclones. Seneca wallace's first start.
2004: 23-0 cyclones. Bret Meyer's first start. UNI was favored i believe.
2010: 27-0 cyclones.

2006: 28-27 cyclones.
2007: 24-13 UNI

Im pretty confident we will be much closer to the '01/'04/'10 level this season than the '06/'07 level. MUCH closer.

2011: 31-0 cyclones. Steele Jantz first start. :yes:
