I'm just wondering what everyone thoughts on how Hoiberg coached in his first loss tonight..?
A few of my observations were:
1. Obviously UNI controlled the tempo of the game, which is what most people thought would be the key. Does this fall all on the players? i.e. Poor rebounding, not hitting open shots, lack of depth, etc.
2. The team really responded after CFH called the timeout when I think UNI went up 6 or 8 around the middle of the second half, and we came back out and got it close again.
3. Could Fred have done something more to get Jake the ball in the in the last minute? Or done something to get JVB more involved in the game besides the pick and pop. (I'm not sure what UNI was doing but that wasn't there at all tonight)
All in all, it's a game I wish we really would've had, but hopefully the team gets focused and we pack Hilton on Saturday for a W.
