Taco Bell in Ames... CLOSED???

The Taco Bell on Lincoln Way near campus is currently closed. The signs on the building have been taken down and there is paper covering the windows.

Does anyone know if it is closed for renovations or if it has closed permanently??

The Taco Bell in Cedar Falls was closed and torn down to build a completely new one. The main reason they were doing this to the Taco Bell in Cedar Falls was because the original building did not have a drive thru and they wanted to add one.

Yep, and I will honestly say that it used to make me go across the street just for the drive thru at taco johns (yeah i want to stay warm in my car in the winter.) also the taco bell employees...well, scared me. nice enough, just scary.

I actually went through the drive-thru there last Saturday after the football game. I was as sick as I've been for a long time all day Sunday and into Monday. Not sure if it was a stomach bug or the food!

I spent many nights at Taco Bell in college. Mexican pizzas!

Does anyone know how we got a Taco Time in Ames? I have not seen them anywhere other than the west coast.
