I think it's funny that they already owned FireLisaBluder.com. She's one of their better and more respectable coaches. If Hawk fans want to axe even her, they're just out for anybody's blood, I guess.

You want to know how I found CF before it got full blown to what it is today? I looked up firewaynemorgan.com and was forwarded to Jeremy's page. I even sent him a halfway nasty email about how he shouldn't have bought the domain name just to spare a lousy coach or something like that and instead I get an email back from him offering if I wanted to write an article for his site! Ha!
Seriously though, Ferentz is fine, Bluder used to be a big name coach but she definately has not lived up to the hype or expectations at Iowa. Gary Barta, he's going to become the next Bruce Van DeVelde with fans if he keeps up his current pace. Will be interesting if he's offered an extension after his 3 year deal is up but I've heard some early grumblings from people close to the Iowa program that he might not be offered an extension.
So far with Alford, Barta needs to "crap or get off the pot" anymore because he's had every reason to can the guy since he's taken over and he hasn't taken advantage. Who cares about the buyout, raise some FB ticket prices or something to help cover it. If they raised prices by about $25 a season ticket they sold 42000 general public season tickets which would bring in an additional $1.05 million in ticket sales. Tack on a small increase in the 4000 current and former faculty season ticket sales as well as the 10,000+ student tickets and you easily cover the yearly buyout. Plus as we know universities have reserve funds which we used to buyout Morgan and McCarney so they don't really even have to raise FB prices too much to cover it. The change in coach alone might sell some more BB season tickets too.

If Iowa fans really wanted to get rid of Golden Boy just find a way to get him at a party with College Co-Eds, Natty Light, and a camera and problem solved

Back when I started this sit, I had also bought firewaynemorgan.com to direct people here as travman stated above. To me it was a way to let people know that both sides of the debate deserve to be heard and I didn't want a site just tearing down the MBB program but rather to direct those upset people to a place to give constructive criticism. I think UI is probably doing the right thing as Iowa fans are as fair-weather as you get and they'd turn on Kirk and Gary quicker than you could imagine.
