I was thinking about how this would even work logistically.....assuming most of Matt's staff would be gone this week to Penn State. And Rogers doesn't have a staff yet (and I assume wouldn't step in to couch our bowl anyway).
Can't really coach a game without coaches in the booth, on the field, etc.
Stinks as the team was playing well and would have been great to play a quality opponent and get 9 wins.

Well I think JP has a little good will currency to play with considering he hired Matt to get the program where it is now. But I'll leave that up to you.
KSU hired a coach that is what 2 years removed from being at KSU.

Yeah ....probably our first true as a fan base reminder on this era they are semi-pro athletes. Gone are the cliche "play for the name on the front of your jersey" and all that.
How often to you see a new coach hired 3 weeks before a bowl game coaching their new team in a bowl game? I can’t recall that ever happening. Leave it to jsb though to be mad at Rogers for not being the first to ever do it.
