I am curious what options the Big XII has for sanctioning Texas Tech regarding the Sorsby situation. Tech is threatening litigation for any potential sanctions or penalties. Do you think the conference is able to impose anything? If the conference does nothing, does that tarnish Yormark's legacy as commissioner?

Alaric Jackson's alleged domestic violence victim says she pleaded with the Rams star not to hurt her because she was pregnant, but claims he coldly responded, 'I don't give a f***' while roughing her up during an argument earlier this week.

On History Channel. Anybody been watching? I was really looking forward to this series, and I think it's been generally good but I have some opinions 6 episodes in. Curious if others watching have thoughts.
I don't want to overreact to anything. I'm a rational Iowa State fan.
That being said, Jimmy Rogers is currently undefeated as Iowa State's head coach, which means the dynasty has technically already begun.
If you're looking for a place to spend the next several months wildly oscillating between "we should temper expectations" and "Jimmy Rogers is about to build the greatest program in college football history," then CF After Dark Discord is where you belong. We're entering a new era of Cyclone football, and naturally the only sensible response is to discuss every practice report, recruiting rumor, and coach interview in exhausting detail.
Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby receives an injunction from the district court in Lubbock to allow him to play in 2026 despite his sports gambling violations. Who gets the blame for how the situation has played out? Jake Brend shares his opinion. Presented by Fareway Meat & Grocery in the Northwest Bank Studios. Login to view embedded media
I love MIlan and wish he was back, but JJ and Tamin set him up quite often as other teams had to respect those two. Plus they had played with Milan for 2 years so they knew where he would be on the floor. Will he mesh with the new team.
I hope he does well except if we have to play them. But i think his numbers will be down
As Jimmy Rogers takes over in 2026, he gets to take over a program with a recent tradition of winning. That's something Matt Campbell couldn't say in 2016.

The first 2028 Big Board is out by MatScouts. As noted elsewhere, no official contact is allowed by schools until April, 2027. At first glance, this appears to be a bit of a down year for Iowa rising juniors.

Thought I'd start a new thread for non-Bridget Carleton pro league talk. Didn't want to resurect a dormant thread that was likely mostly Calark talk from a couple of years ago.
So, Big 12 related and local for me:
Big 12 POY Olivia Miles is having a great start to her pro career with the Lynx. Had a WNBA rookie record 8 threes the other night. Truthfully have not paid them much attention to the Lynx since Carleton got drafted away from them and with Collier still out. Might have to give them a look but don't have the local subscription so won't see them much.
I've seen us sign a few future guys recently. What are the trends you're seeing and what about the level of talent so far. To me, it seems like we're defensive focused and O-line focused. It also feels like the dudes we're getting are similar to a Campbell-type level of talent.
Anyone feel like they have a grip on how our coaches are really doing so far? I'll hang up and listen.
Casey Alexander is changing the recruiting strategy for the men’s basketball program at Kansas State. The former Belmont coach already stated publicly how there’s “zero reason” the Wildcats can’t win ballgames out of the gate with the coaching staff and 10 new transfers he’s introduced. On...
