I know CTE is blamed a lot, but some of that is the nature of the sport. You have to behave like an abusive person to play professional football. Some people struggle to be able to keep that switch off when not on the field.

Never a reason for anything like this no matter who you are.

My advice to any person in a relationship, if they ever get physical with you, leave them. It is extremely rare that it only happens once.
