Was listening to a podcast and one of the hosts said in passing “those will be the minutes of your life you’ll wish you had back in the end” in response to some regular thing someone did (I think it was in reference to the amount of time people in fandoms spend ******** about the thing they claim to love) and it got me thinking more broadly, what is something you do daily or very regularly that you’re going to wish you had those minutes back at the end of your life?

Other than posting on CF. That’s the low hanging fruit that we all know we’ll regret.

I coach a jh basketball team thats just learning the game for the first time and arent very talented so they get beat pretty badly most games they play. I took issue with a coach that when his team was up by over 40 points he still had his starters in with the last 3 minutes left to play. I called him on it during a game and he took offense (we played them twice and he did it both games). When do you guys think is a good time to pull out your starters in a blowout and show sportsmanship?

That's pretty awesome. I'm not sure what's more impressive - the hole in one or the fact that he can take a golf glove off with one arm. I can barely do it with two hands.

I could start cutting and pasting comments from previous postings and it would describe this game. I’ll just summarize:
1. Point guard dribbles and players stand around. Guard dribbles some more.
2. Team plays well for three quarters.
3. Team disappears for one quarter. (This time the fourth quarter as TCU shot 53% and ISU shot 23%)
4. Team loses due to #3.
5. Only three players contribute offensively.
6. Scoring from Rae disappears again

Strange things happened in this game. ISU out rebounded the toads in dominating fashion and yet, TCU had more shots on basket and made more. How does this happen? 18 turnovers. The guard play is just killing this team right now. It sure explains why so many guards were recruited for next year. Any early enrollees?

Nice to see Maddie back in there again. Unfortunately she has to work her way back into being a contributor. Nez seeing less time. Washington and Thurmon aren’t impacting as we might have hoped.

So, the big question is...is this team so limited in the guard court that getting to 50% in league play is a pipe dream? Home court is no longer an advantage. The game is four quarters long and the ladies are playing three. Can this be fixed? Right now I just don’t know.

I realize that Ruhle leaving Baylor is not a done deal but let's assume he goes to the NFL? Who does Baylor go after?

I don't have a specific name but I'd guess it will be an up and comer out of a non -power 5 conference. Anyone care to take a guess?

Would appreciate suggestions for any fitness locations in Ames (preferably East Ames) in which I can work out 3-5 times per week, workout on my own, no classes, no pool, no sauna, just basics, month-to-month membership.

Let's say that you had about a bunch of free airfare that you had to book prior to this summer, and you want to stay in the western hemisphere. Caribbean vacations are ideal, affordable all-inclusives even better, but hopefully without the diarrhea and murder of so many places. What are your choices, and what time of year? Also to add: Let's say the male sort of just wants to be able to chill and relax some, as the female of the relationship is pretty type A and likes to see and do ALL THE THINGS. But the female still wants to be able to go out and see cool, historical, or offbeat/odd things. Does your choice meet both of their needs?

Looks like the NCAA has another choice to make when it comes to disciplining a blue -blood. It's tough to tell if cash is real but here's my thoughts.
1.Why would OBJ carry fake cash?
