Ozempic, GLP-1 and other modern diabetes / weight loss medications

Anyone on them? Know friends on them?

I do think these are crazy (in a good way) drugs that has the power to change the world and fight an epidemic of diabetes and obesity, especially in the US.

Pricing is a concern of course but with more and more companies getting into the space, the competition will bring prices down much like Blood Pressure and Blood thinner medications did over the years.

If I ever qualify, I’d definitely consider it. My insurance has a bunch of hoops for those without diabetes.

Maybe one day nearly everyone just does a once a year injection to help regulate blood sugar.

High School Baseball/Softball Concession Stands

My daughter is a rising junior, and her class has now taken over the baseball and softball concession stands as a fundraiser for prom and after-prom. My wife and I, along with another couple, are the lead concession managers.

We willl already have most of the standard items:
Water, Gatorade, soda, Bubblr, popcorn, candy, nachos, sunflower seeds, brats, hot dogs, burgers, walking tacos- I’m sure I’m forgetting a few things, but that’s the bulk of the menu.

What I’d love to hear from all of you is:
What are some unique or popular items you’ve seen at outdoor concession stands that people really liked?

We’d prefer items that are relatively low-maintenance and easy to prep/serve. Bonus points if they’re things we could pick up at Sam’s Club or Costco.

Thanks in advance for the ideas and advice!

Cell Phone Options

I've been with one of the major cell phone companies for a LOT of years. In reviewing our bill, we only use like 5 GB per month data but have to pay for unlimited usage - they don't offer an option. We could cut our monthly cell bill in half with one of the newer companies. We would need to find different insurance coverage, however. Have any of you switched to one of the low cost companies? What is your experience?
