After a decade in Ames, the winningest coach in program history is reportedly moving on. Penn State is in the final stages of negotiations with Matt Campbell, per reports from ESPN, Yahoo Sports and more.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports that Penn State and Campbell interview on Dec. 3, which was the last time he spoke to the local media at National Signing Day. Multiple reports and sources indicate the parties met in Iowa on Thursday night and have been working towards a deal since.

In 10 seasons as the head coach of Iowa State, Campbell has owned a record of 72-55 and taken the Cyclones to two separate Big 12 Championship Game appearances.

We will have coverage throughout the day on Cyclone Fanatic.
