Former Iowa State linebacker Mike Rose is headed to rookie camp for another shot at making a 53-man roster.
Rose will get a second shot with the NFL thanks to an invite from the Miami Dolphins.
After playing his final season at Iowa State and spending a stint of time with the Kansas City Chiefs, Rose was drafted to the XFL.
Rose finished the season with 15 solo tackles, 25 total tackles, four tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry as he anchored the St. Louis Battlehawks’ defense.
Rose becomes the second Cyclone to sign a rookie camp deal this week, joining Colby Reeder.
