Biliew named to USA Basketball U19 FIBA World Cup Roster

Omaha Biliew will represent the United States at the U19 FIBA World Cup later this month.

The Iowa State freshman made the final roster announced on Friday after spending the last week at the team’s training camp in Colorado. He’s the first Cyclone to make the U19 roster since Tyrese Haliburton represented Iowa State at the 2019 U19 FIBA World Cup.

Biliew is regarded as one of the best incoming freshmen in college basketball. He finished rated as the No. 13 overall player in the 2023 class by the 247Sports Composite.

The USA will open pool play in Hungary against Madagascar on June 24 then will play Slovenia on June 25 before finishing pool action against Lebanon on June 27.
